  • HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY DESSERT ORDER?
We require a minimum of two weeks notice on all orders to allow a sufficient amount of time to prepare. However, the sooner the better as we may be booked 4-6 weeks out. Since we are a team of two, we take a limited number of orders each week so we can give each order the amount of attention it deserves :)
  • HOW DO I PLACE MY ORDER?
Either fill out the form on our Contact page or email us directly at Baked.byLK@gmail.com. We will respond to all emails in the order in which they were received. Please allow a few days for a response.
  • HOW DO YOU TAKE PAYMENT + WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Upon finalizing all dessert order details, we will email you an invoice via Square. You can pay directly through the invoice with either a credit or debit card. Easy peasy! We require all orders to be paid in full two weeks prior to pick up or delivery date (or upon receiving invoice). For weddings and other large event orders being placed far in advance, we will require a 25% deposit up front to secure your date.
  • DO YOU HAVE A STOREFRONT I CAN VISIT?
Unfortunately, we do not yet have a retail space to visit, but with your continued support we hope to make that dream a reality in the future! All pick up and delivery orders are by appointment only.
  • DO YOU DO WEDDINGS?
Of course! Please email us at Baked.byLK@gmail.com to set up a consultation.
  • HOW SHOULD I PRESERVE MY DESSERT BEFORE SERVING?
Depends on the exact item you ordered! Cakes - You may leave at room temperature (for up to 2 days) or refrigerate. If your cake has cream cheese frosting or fresh fruit, please keep refrigerated. We recommend pulling all cakes out to thaw at room temperature a few hours before serving. Cakes will safely keep in the fridge for up to two weeks. Cupcakes - Do NOT refrigerate (unless cream cheese frosting or fresh fruit has been used) as this will dry out your cupcakes. We package our cupcakes in plastic clamshell containers and you can leave them at room temperature until serving. If you want them to last more than a couple days, you will want to freeze them. Cookies - Leave at room temperature. Do not refrigerate (with the exception of gooey butter cookies)! If you have leftovers you want to last longer, again, we recommend freezing them. Other desserts? Ask us!
